My hummus with nuts
I often make hummus, but this time I’ve forgot about buying a jar of tahini paste. No problem, I thought. Hummus tastes very well also with nuts!

INGREDIENTS
400 g canned chickpeas
2 tbsp cashew nuts
3 tbsp peeled pistachios
1/2 cup olive oil
about 150ml water
1 clove garlic
1 lemon
black pepper
Salt
+ a bunch of pistachios for decoration

DIRECTIONS

Drain the chickpeas and place them in a bowl.

Add the olive oil, lemon juice squeezed out of the lemon, nuts, garlic, a bit of water and spices.

Blend your hummus until smooth. In case it is too thick, add more water.

Decorate the dish with some olive oil and nuts.
