Spicy plum "marmelade"
Yesterday I bought delicious plums. We ate a lot of them but there were still some left. I quickly decided to prepare something sweet and spicy which will match my breakfast – a natural yoghurt with fruits. The result was even better than I thought it would be! I hope you will like this sweet and spicy taste of my quick plum “marmalade”!

DIRECTIONS
01
Cut the plums into quarters and place them in a big pot. Add honey, raisins and spices. Cook it on a low heat mixing from time to time.

02
After 20-30 minutes check the taste. You may add some more honey or spices. Now I’s also time to add some lime juice. I used a half of a lime and it was enough.

03
Cook the marmalade further on a low heat for another 20 minutes. It shouldn’t be to liquid and it should get sticky.

04
Wait till it’s totally cold and pour it into a jar.

05
This “marmalade” tastes the best with natural yoghurt or with a fresh challah.
