Vegan crumble with plums
Last weekend I bought a huge basket of plums and I didn’t have any idea on what to do with them. Then I decided that a vegan crumble with plums will be perfect for a relaxed Sunday afternoon. Maybe this was the last chance to eat such sweet and juicy plums this fall?

INGREDIENTS
1,5-2kg plums
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cardamom
0,5 cup water
 
crumble topping
0,5 cup coconut oil
1,5 cup spelt flour
3 tbsp maple syrup

Wash the plums and remove the pits. Place the plums in a big pot. Add the maple syrup, water and spices.

Cook the plums for about an hour. Do not forget to stir the mixture from time to time.

In the meantime prepare the crumble. Melt the coconut oil, if not liquid. Then join it with the spelt flour and maple syrup. The crumble should look similar to fine breadcrumbs.

Now pour the plum mixture into a middle-sized ovenproof dish and sprinkle it with the crumble topping.

Bake the dessert in the oven preheated to 200°C for 20-30 minutes.
