Millet flakes with coconut twist
This morning I was really hungry but there were just a few simple products in the fridge. I took a look at them and immediately got an idea: easy to make millet flakes with coconut milk and fruit! Try this quick and warming breakfast. It is perfect for a cold day.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup instant millet flakes
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup water
1 banana
1 small apple
a pinch of cinnamon
1 tbsp cane sugar
few drops of lemon juice

Put the millet flakes, coconut milk, water and sugar in a small pot and bring the mixture to boil. Add few drops of lemon juice and cook for 3-4 minutes stirring from time to time.

In the meantime mash the banana and grate the apple on a middle-sized grater.

Add fruit to the millet mixture, stir it gently and sprinkle with a pinch o cinnamon. It’s ready!
