Plum crumble with saffron, coconut and chia
Let’s start this chilly fall with something sweet, but healthy! Here’s my easy recipe for a delicious plum crumble with a pinch of famous Canadian saffron. I enjoyed it today after lunch and still plan to have a spoon or two after dinner.

INGREDIENTS
750 g sweet plums
4 g stevia
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp saffron
5 tbsp spelt flower
5 tbsp shredded coconut
3 tbsp grounded chia
1 packet vanilla sugar
75 g butter

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Wash plums and pit them, then place in a ovenproof dish.

Sprinkle the plums with stevia, grounded cinnamon, nutmeg and saffron, do not mix.

In a small pot, melt the butter.

Set spelt flour, coconut, chia and vanilla in a bowl, then add the melted butter. Mix quickly until big crumble pieces appear.

Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit, place in the oven and bake for around 40 minutes or until golden brown.
