Traditional tatar sauce
A real tatar sauce is pretty heavy, but delicious! This is why we serve it only on special occasions like Christmas or Easter. It tastes the best with hard-boiled eggs or fresh, high-quality ham. Yummy!

INGREDIENTS
6 cornichons
1/2 white onion
a bunch of chives
3 hard-boild eggs
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp grated horseradish
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp tarragon
5 tbsp mayonaise
5 tbsp greek yogurt (or 12% fat sour cream)
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Chop the cornichons, chives, egg whites and onion. Set them in a bowl.

Mix the egg yolks with sugar and horseradish. Add the olive oil, tarragon, lemon juice, mayonaise and yogurt. Blend until smooth.

Join the sauce with other ingredients and season the sauce with salt and pepper.
